The role of the School Site Council (SSC) is to provide governance and oversight of the academic planning and
budgeting process at Claire Lilienthal in order to meet the needs of ALL students.

• Academic Plan Development
  • The Academic Plan is a school’s framework for continuous improvement and forms the basis through which schools are held accountable for improving student achievement. It is the single document that outlines a school’s programs and strategies for improving student achievement, as well as the responsibilities for everyone involved in that process
• Budget Allocation
• Plan and Budget Review
• Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Development
• Staffing
