What Is Scrip?
Scrip is a term that means “substitute money”.  When you purchase scrip, you’re purchasing negotiable gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, gas, cappuccinos and other essentials, OR to purchase sure-to-please gifts for other people.  And with every purchase, you earn money for Claire Lilienthal.

How scrip generates revenue for us ...
Popular retailers participating in the ShopWithScrip.com program sell scrip to CLPTA at a discount that ranges between 2% and 25%. CL families buy and redeem gift cards for full face value, and CL keeps the difference as “profit.”  The potential revenue can be substantial.  Why not buy your groceries, gas, coffee and an occasional movie through the ShopWithScrip.com program?

Scrip is "shopping cart fundraising” ...
Scrip is a popular fundraiser because families don’t have to sell anything. You can produce revenue for CL by making regular household purchases you would make anyway.  It also makes gift shopping easy.  Who doesn’t love getting a gift card to a favorite store?  And if you are into selling, you can hit up your friends, relatives and neighbors guilt-free because everyone can find at least one gift card they can use.

Choose which CL program will benefit from the money you raise ...

As incentive to participate in this easy yet potentially valuable fundraising program, you can earmark 50% of the profit you generate through ShopWithScrip.com to the CL classroom or program of your choice (the other 50% will benefit the general PTA fund).   Your child’s classroom fund, KIP, sports, graduation, music, computer lab, library . . . you decide!  Just indicate the program on your check, order form (under “PTA Group”) or online registration (under “teacher name”).

In the orange box on the right, click on the “Not a member?-click here” link to begin the 4 registration steps.
Be sure to indicate your student’s name and the PTA program of your choice (under “teacher name”).
After Step 4, input CLPTA’s enrollment code C2B46E7618166.  
You will then be ready to place an order!
All orders must be paid by check.  Send in all checks to the office at either campus, Attn:  ShopWithScrip.  Let’s put our shopping dollars to work for CL!
